Should veterans require further expertise, we find a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) when not readily available through our organization.

Vocational Rehabilitation

Our commitment to veterans' success includes assisting them in accessing vocational rehabilitation opportunities, whether through the VA or state programs. We understand the transformative potential of vocational rehabilitation in veterans' career development. To simplify the process, we provide invaluable assistance in completing and submitting all necessary paperwork. Navigating these applications can be complex, but our dedicated team is well-equipped to guide veterans through the intricacies and remove any administrative barriers that may arise. Our support extends beyond the application phase, as we remain dedicated to veterans throughout their vocational rehabilitation journey, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need to thrive in civilian life.

Transportation

Veterans and their approved family members in the greater Kansas City Area are afforded the privilege of reliable transportation services. Through collaborations with local organizations on P4OV's contract list, we ensure safe and efficient travel to approved locations and appointments. To maintain quality service, all trips must undergo a thorough approval process, guaranteeing the vetting of transportation providers. We encourage veterans to schedule their transportation reservations at least one week in advance for optimal coordination; however, we also accommodate last-minute appointments with a minimum three-day notice under specific circumstances.
